Auntie for several days over the young Cob mare I gave in and told Jessica she would have to sell her show pony at the time
Cuesta Bravo to buy Wyvere Alexandra. Jessica was off on her mission and back in 45 minutes with a buyer for Cuesta
Bravo and ready to buy Lexi!!! Lexi was off to her new home in California. Jessica worked hard over the winter riding and
training Lexi. Hard work paid off as Jessica and Lexi went onto win many division championships in English and Western
Pleasure, Hunters, Showmanship and Trail. Jessica and Lexi returned to Tulsa in 2000 and went onto win the Welsh Pony
& Cob American National Championships in English Pleasure, Hunters, Trail, Showmanship and Reserve Champion in
Western Pleasure. Jessica and Lexi have since won Welsh Pony and Cob Society Year End High Score Championships in
English and Western Pleasure, Hunters, Trail, Hunt Seat Equitation and Stock Seat Equitation, Reserve Championship in
Showmanship for years 2000, 2001 and 2003.
Jessica and Lexi also compete in Dressage and Combined Training, qualifying and competing for United States Pony Club
Championships in Combined Training held in Lexington, Kentucky in 2001. Jessica and Lexi have been very successful in
competing in Combined Training in the Novice Horse division. Their best finish was at Watershed Horse Trials in Covington,
Lousisana where the pair went clean in Cross Country and clear in Show jumping to finish on their 19.5 Dressage score!!!
The pair are now competing in USEA Training Level events and in their first Training Level outing finished 2nd overall
finishing on their 34 Dressage score going double clear in Cross Country and Show jumping.
In 2005 Wyvere Alexandra was sold to Caroline Lacey-Freeman as we knew Lexi would be forever treasured and would
take Caroline safely back into the show ring. 'Lexi' had a beautiful black Section D colt by GF Prince Albert early June 2006
Look for them both in the show ring soon!

such as Llanarth Flying Comet, Llanarth True Briton, Nebo Black Magic and Llanarth Braint
Those who know Marquita personally know her for her wonderful, kind disposition.
Marquita is the first to greet you at the gate and is a trustworthy, safe mount for visitors to
ride when visiting Buttonwood Farm. Marquita is the favorite among the neighborhood
children to feed treats and to brush. Marquita is broke to ride and
drive, though her broodmare duties have kept her too busy to do any showing.
*Eyster Marquita gave us a beautiful Black Filly by GF Prince Albert Buttonwood Adelaide
was born on Mother's Day! We couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day gift!
Adelaide promises to follow in her Father GF Prince Albert and 1/2 Sister Wyvere
Alexandra footsteps in the show ring! Adelaide is shown above at 18 hours old with her dam
